Elmwood Park Zoo, located in Norristown, Pennsylvania and established in 1924, is one of the oldest zoos in Pennsylvania. It is home to a diverse collection of animals and exhibits which incorporate naturalistic habitats to give the animals a comfortable and enriching environment. The Zoo is involved in conservation efforts to protect endangered species and their habitats and participates in various initiatives, programs and collaborations with conservation organizations to contribute to the preservation of vulnerable species.
