S&W is pleased to announce our partnership with Cranaleith Spiritual Center, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy. Located on a beautiful 10-acre sanctuary in Northeast Philadelphia, Cranaleith offers retreats, spiritual direction, and a range of other events. They also have programs that provide support for nonprofit organizations seeking reflective practices related to professional development, strategic planning, and other activities. Organizations Cranaleith has served range from Project HOME and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to Women Against Abuse and St. John’s Hospice. The Center takes its name from a Gaelic word for “sanctuary of trees.”

S&W’s work will focus on two priorities: helping the Center communicate its mission and impact more clearly through a new introductory slide deck and case for support and identifying a group of potential institutional funders for future cultivation.

“Even from our first conversation with the Cranaleith team, it was clear that this organization fulfills a distinctive and deeply valuable mission. With this, the members of the S&W team are eager to build a deeper understanding of the organization and visit the Center’s spirit-rekindling grounds.” – Mike Butler, Senior Writer
