Schultz & Williams is proud to support the mission of Teach For America Greater Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization working to expand educational opportunity for students across the region. Since launching in Philadelphia in 2003, the organization has recruited and developed leaders who commit to teaching in local schools and supporting students in communities that have been historically underserved.
Today, that commitment extends across multiple pathways of impact— in addition to its corps member teaching program, TFA has also launched Ignite, the organization’s high‑impact virtual tutoring initiative. Ignite fellows—many of whom are current college students and emerging leaders—provide individualized small‑group literacy tutoring to students across Philadelphia. This program helps accelerate learning and expand the pipeline of future teachers. Alongside its corps and Ignite fellows stands a powerful network of more than 1,700 TFA alumni living and working in the Philadelphia region. Alumni serve as classroom teachers, school and system leaders, nonprofit executives, community organizers, policy advocates, and innovators driving solutions at every level of the education ecosystem.
Through its corps of dedicated tutors, teachers, and alumni leaders, Teach For America Greater Philadelphia works to ensure that all children have access to an excellent education and the resources they need to thrive. By partnering with schools, districts, and community organizations, the organization empowers educators and leaders to strengthen classrooms and drive long-term change in the education system.
We are proud to support Teach For America Greater Philadelphia and its continued efforts to cultivate leaders, support students, and help build a more equitable future for schools and communities throughout the region.
“As a Teach For America 2010 Jacksonville alum, this partnership feels especially personal to me. What stands out about Teach For America Greater Philadelphia is how deeply rooted it is in the community. Its work is built on real relationships, trust, and a clear commitment to the students and families it serves. That community-centered approach is what makes its impact so meaningful, and it’s an honor to support an organization helping drive opportunity and long-term change.”
