Lincoln Financial Foundation awards grants to hundreds of nonprofits each year in the areas of financial wellness, youth education, and human services. One aspect of Lincoln Financial’s human services portfolio of support is to partner with organizations that provide the emergency supply and distribution of food and access to nutritious food – needs that increased significantly, almost overnight, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. To ensure its partner organizations were able to meet this need, Lincoln Financial provided new levels of funding and aimed to elevate the infrastructure at each of their partner organizations.

S&W is pleased to partner with Lincoln Financial Foundation in working closely with eight of its grantee food organizations around the country, first in a training series designed to help each retain the new donors who made a gift for the first time in 2020 or 2021, and next in a data analysis and assessment of the greatest donor opportunities going forward. This work is conducted through ElevateNP, S&W’s Institute for Nonprofit Excellence, and is intended to help each grantee organization realize even greater fundraising success with its individual donors.
