Overview
Karen Rueda joined the Schultz & Williams team in 2017 with over a decade of experience helping schools and nonprofits tell their stories. She provides S&W’s clients with expertise in verbal branding, developing print and online communication strategies, and crafting compelling copy and content.
Prior Experience
Prior to launching her consulting career, Karen served as the director of communications for Gesu School for eight years. In this capacity, she acted as in-house writer, editor and creative director charged with telling the stories of 450 resilient children and the people behind this little miracle school in North Philadelphia. Her responsibilities covered all aspects of the school’s donor communications, and her contributions gave the development team the visibility and resources it needed to raise over $4 million annually.
