He leads the firm’s growth in New York and serves as a trusted advisor to nonprofit organizations across the country, spanning sectors from higher education to health and human services.

Background
Prior to joining Schultz & Williams, JA led fundraising and strategic engagements with another national consulting firm focused on helping nonprofits grow and as an independent nonprofit consultant. He also brings experience from senior leadership roles as Regional Executive Director for the American Cancer Society, overseeing fundraising programs across New York’s Greater Hudson Valley region, and as Chapter Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross, leading all aspects of a complex local affiliate.
Earlier in his career, JA held senior leadership positions with Scouting America. Across all roles, spanning higher education, health and human services, and youth-serving organizations, JA’s leadership has contributed to campaigns and programs that have raised tens of millions of dollars, expanded organizational capacity, and deepened community engagement.
This breadth of executive-level, hands-on nonprofit leadership informs the practical, outcomes-driven guidance he now brings to S&W’s clients.
