Overview

Jennifer has twenty years of development experience with a focus on development operations, donor databases, membership, annual giving, and capital campaigns. She has worked for large and small arts and cultural organizations and in higher education. She has managed national membership fundraising programs through direct mail, donor communications, and events. Jennifer’s work in a variety of development roles has provided her with comprehensive expertise in development operations, data analysis, and database management. She also has extensive experience working with Blackbaud products and is Raiser’s Edge and NXT certified.

Prior Experience

Jennifer has worked with two major fundraising building campaigns, the relocation of the Barnes Foundation and the opening of the National Museum of American Jewish History. She oversaw the membership renewal and annual giving programs during her time at Winterthur Museum.

She was a member of the Best Practices Committee for the Association for Advancement Services Professionals while she was the Raiser’s Edge database manager at Arcadia University. She presented at the Art Museum Membership Manager’s Conference on renewal programs incorporating multi-channel strategies.

She worked for the University of California, Los Angeles managing the gifts department, overseeing 100,000 gifts annually during a $5 billion capital campaign and a data conversion to Blackbaud CRM. She supervised all aspects of gift giving including gift entry, data quality assurance and metrics, gift reconciliation and reporting, matching gifts, recurring gifts program, alumni membership, and database training for staff. She managed the national membership program for the American Public Gardens Association and raised individual and corporate sponsorship support for their annual conference.
