Casey is a strategic development leader with over 17 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations achieve their philanthropic goals. Her approach blends strategic insight with hands-on partnership, guiding nonprofits toward sustainable growth and greater impact.
Background
Previously, Casey served as Executive Director of Philanthropic Giving at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she helped shape fundraising strategy for a $25–30 million advancement operation and led teams across major gifts and institutional giving.
As Vice President of Corporate & Foundation Relations at the YMCA of Greater New York, she developed and implemented data-driven strategies that secured $17 million for programs and capital projects. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she also played a key role in leading emergency response fundraising to sustain essential services for vulnerable New Yorkers.
Earlier in her career, Casey held multiple leadership roles at Columbia Business School, managing more than 200 corporate partnerships and raising millions for specialized programs. She led record-breaking fundraising efforts for international alumni events and played a pivotal role in the School’s Annual Dinner, generating $3 million annually in unrestricted support.
