With more than 23 years of communications and membership experience, Becky Zahrly provides specialized skills and relevant expertise to S&W’s high-profile, membership-based direct response clients. She is proficient in executing membership acquisition and renewal direct mail campaigns, developing exclusive member programs and events, and managing on-site sales initiatives.

At S&W, Becky is responsible for planning and executing detailed acquisition list strategies, including identifying strong new test files and honing selections to maximize response while minimizing list costs. She provides comprehensive campaign results analysis for The Cornell Lab of Ornithology and list planning and campaign analysis for S&W’s zoo consortium. She has developed monthly direct response result reports and projection comparisons for several S&W clients, including The Planetary Society (Pasadena, CA), Newseum (Washington, D.C.) and New England Aquarium (Boston, MA).

Becky’s previous roles include director of membership and annual giving for the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, membership manager at Pacific Science Center (Seattle, WA) marketing communications manager for Central City Association of Los Angeles, communications coordinator for Downtown Marketing Council of Los Angeles and public relations assistant for the Biltmore Hotel (now Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles).

Becky is a member of the American Association of Zoos and Aquariums and was a standing member of Southern California Membership Roundtable from 2000 to 2007. She has a B.A. degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.
