Overview

Becky Wainwright is an accomplished Director of Development with over 15 years of experience creating and managing successful fundraising programs for local, international, and advocacy organizations. Known for her strategic approach and leadership, she has a proven track record in donor cultivation, building fundraising boards, and increasing revenue streams through innovative development strategies.

Prior Experience

Becky’s most recent role was as Director of Development at CeaseFirePA, where she significantly increased funding, including monthly donors and PAC fundraising. Previously, she served as the Director of Development and Communications at Bloom India, an international nonprofit launching schools and STEM centers in India.

Becky likes wearing multiple hats and working in small to mid-size organizations. She spearheaded new initiatives, including monthly donor acquisition programs, retention and renewal processes, and major gift programs. She developed successful board and event committees to leverage special events. Her expertise also includes brand creation, digital marketing, annual fundraising, and team management.

Becky is currently on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, is co-chair of the Industry Excellence Committee, and co-leads their Coffee Conversation monthly roundtable program.
