Schultz & Williams is excited to work alongside the Jamaica Bay–Rockaway Parks Conservancy, a nonprofit dedicated to improving and preserving the 10,000 acres of public parkland throughout Jamaica Bay and the Rockaway Peninsula. Established as a public-private partnership, the Conservancy works with city, state, and federal partners to expand access, enhance recreational and educational opportunities, and protect vital natural habitats.
Through restoration projects, community programs, and volunteer engagement, JBRPC fosters environmental stewardship while strengthening connections between people and public spaces. Their work plays a critical role in advancing resilience, sustainability, and access to nature for residents and visitors alike.
We are honored to support their continued efforts to protect, restore, and activate one of New York City’s most important natural and recreational resources.
“Having grown up in the parks and waterways that now make up the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, this project is deeply personal to me. I’m grateful for the opportunity to advance their work maintaining and restoring one of New York’s most important and often most overlooked natural and recreational resource.”
