Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia supports homeowners to achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families. Since 1985, Habitat Philadelphia has helped more than 1,300 families by constructing or selling nearly 280 new homes and completing over 1,000 critical home repairs. Habitat Philadelphia serves families with low to moderate incomes through its affordable Homeownership and Home Repair Programs. Homebuyers invest sweat equity hours, attend workshops, and purchase their homes with a no-interest mortgage. The Habitat ReStore, which sells donated furniture and building materials, generates funds to support these programs while promoting sustainability and creating jobs.
