It gives me great pleasure, along with a touch of sadness, to announce that our long-time Vice President, Jean Tickell, has announced her retirement. Jean is a true professional who has brought wisdom, experience, and passion to her many consulting assignments for Schultz & Williams over the years. Her versatility and pragmatic approach to problem-solving has made her a valuable team member, consultant, interim staffing person, facilitator, and advisor.
I have always respected Jean’s values and commitment to moving our firm in the right direction, as well as her professionalism as a fundraiser and nonprofit manager. A leader in our DEI efforts, Jean has been an integral player in our firm’s commitment, as she puts it, “to be a learner and a leader.”
Jean has touched the lives of many people during her professional career. Now, she can enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends. On behalf of our staff, clients, and colleagues, we wish Jean a happy retirement, knowing full well that her commitment to building a better world will never end.
“I was thrilled when Jane Williams and Scott hired me in 2010, and it has been a wonderful adventure ever since,” said Jean. “I truly believe in the power of nonprofits. It has been a joy to work with so many nonprofit organizations that are making a direct impact on the quality of life in their communities.” – Jean Tickell, S&W Vice President
