Position Summary
We are seeking a thoughtful, proactive, and highly organized Project Manager (PM) to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role supports multiple consulting teams across our Development Consulting and Strategic & Business Planning practices. The PM will coordinate a portfolio of 8–10 client accounts, managing day-to-day logistics and communications for projects ranging from capital campaigns and fundraising programs to strategic plans and interim staffing engagements.
The PM is a linchpin on each project—ensuring clarity, accountability, and momentum from kickoff to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a range of nonprofit organizations and contribute meaningfully to their growth, strategy, and sustainability. You’ll have a voice at the table and the chance to deepen your understanding of fundraising, organizational planning, and the broader nonprofit landscape.

- Present information clearly and professionally in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Maintain high standards for confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Project Management & Operations

- Create and maintain detailed project timelines and workflow tools.
- Support data-related project work (e.g., handling Excel files, reviewing reports, formatting deliverables).
- Help shape meeting agendas and document project decisions to support clear, aligned execution.
- Organize information for internal and external audiences with precision and clarity.
- Use technology to streamline communications and enhance client engagement.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a natural ability to manage complexity.
- Client-centered, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Confident presenting information and comfortable in both leadership and support roles.
- Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Asana, Zoom, or CRM platforms is a plus.
- Able to manage up, manage across, and stay composed under pressure.
Work Environment & Expectations
- This is a hybrid position with the current expectation of working three days per week in our Center City Philadelphia office.
- PMs must be available for in-person client or team meetings up to five days per week, as needed.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required (e.g., to attend a client board meeting).
- Some regional or national travel may be necessary for client engagements or conferences.
