On February 10, 2020, 115 members of The Planetary Societyrepresenting 28 states, visited 150 congressional offices in Washington, D.C. Their goal is to advance three key initiatives: 1) The search for life in our solar system and beyond; 2) Extending human presence into deep space; and 3) Defending the Earth from asteroid impacts.

The Planetary Society’s Day of Action advocates for space science and exploration. Thousands more around the world participate online by contacting their representatives in government and sharing space with their friends. The Day of Action is an annual event and occurs in the February to March timeframe.
